Rft downloaded file checksum does not match

Downloaded a page from Wikipedia via wget on remote server and named the file test.dat. Then I executed md5sum. I download the file via HTTP and check it back on my home computer. The checksum does not match. When I download the same file via SCP the checksum matches.

I’ve been trying to download this game all day it took me five different debit cards and when it finally worked on one it charged the card 3 times. Now I download the launcher and every time it finishes it says “downloaded file checksum does not match”. Client restarts downloading again and again and after finishing in tab "not synced" I have information "25.05.2017 10:23:28, wymiana/VID_20170207_170412.mp4, ownCloud,The downloaded file does not match the checksum, it will be resumed." There are two files of size about 100MB and 800MB, so it is a bit annoying.
